Meet the Team
At the heart of PMDG is a committed leadership team that guides our vision and ensures our projects make a lasting impact.
The Executive Team provides overall direction and governance for PMDG. They are responsible for steering the organization’s mission, building strong community partnerships, and ensuring transparency in all our activities. With experience spanning community development, education, youth empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods, the Executive brings both strategic oversight and a deep connection to the communities we serve.
Our Project Leads translate vision into action. Each lead manages specific initiatives, from education support and skills development to youth empowerment and community advocacy. They work closely with local stakeholders, volunteers, and beneficiaries to ensure that every project is responsive to community needs, well-managed, and impactful. Their hands-on approach makes PMDG’s work visible at grassroots level.
Together, the Executive and Project Leads embody PMDG’s values of integrity, service, and inclusivity, ensuring that our efforts create opportunities and open pathways for growth in the Pella Matlhako community and beyond.

Regomoditswe Modutwane- Project Lead: Women Seminars and Empowerment

Keletso Mekgoe- Project Lead: A Re Thuseng
Lesego Mosome- Project Lead: Think Again
Lesego Mosome, born and raised in the village of Pella, holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (BCom) and recently completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Growing up in the village exposed her to the realities of poverty, limited opportunities, and the lack of activities that nurture learners’ confidence and public-speaking abilities.
Motivated by a desire to contribute to change, Lesego joined the Pella Matlhako Development Group (PMDG) because of its positive impact on learners and youth, an impact that aligns closely with her personal values and intentions.
She currently leads the Think Again Project, which focuses on academic competitions such as Mopeleto, Reading, Spelling Bee, and Debate. These competitions engage learners from the Intermediate Phase through to the Further Education and Training (FET) Phase, covering almost the entire school spectrum. The project is designed to help learners overcome stage fright by creating opportunities to speak English confidently in front of an audience, while also affirming the importance of Setswana through Mopeleto. With the Department of Education’s new emphasis on teaching in mother tongue languages, this initiative also prepares learners to thrive in the classroom.
Lesego expresses both pride and gratitude in leading this project and envisions its growth to include a wider audience and participation from more schools in the future.
